教学目标:

1、能进一步了解有关Chinese New Year等节日的活动。

2、初步了解一般将来时，正确运用be going to句型，询问和表达计划做的事情。

教学重难点：

正确运用be going to句型，询问和表达将要做的事情。

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up

1.      T: Boys and girls, are you ready for class. Today is Christmas. There’s a nice box in each group and what are they? Cards. If you answer questions correctly, you can pick one. OK? Now, class begins.

2.      T: Boys and girls, do you like games? First, let’s play a game. 30 seconds Non-stop Talking.

When you see the days, try your best to say the things you think about. The more the better. First, let’s say sth. about 课件出示：Christmas。But I’ll choose some of you to join the game. Now listen: the boys with glasses，the girls in Group 4, the students in black, the students in group 1.     

 课件：Christmas, Mid-Autumn Festival, Birthday, Chinese New Year

Step 2. Revision & Presentation

1.      T: What are you going to do at Chinese New Year? (板书)

S: I’m going to …(请两生回答)

2.      Yes, people can do a lot of things at Chinese New Year. What’s Anna’s plan? What are Anna and her family going to do at Chinese New Year?（出示表格P80）Look at this form and try to retell.

Anna’s Plan 

    S: 小组讨论，每人说一个时间说。

T: Now, let’s try to retell, which group wants to try?

  课件出示：Chinese New Year is coming next week. Anna is very excited. Before Chinese New Year, she is going to …

   3. T: That is Anna’s plan. How about Su Hai? If you want to know Su Hai and her family’s plan, what questions can you ask?

Tips: 小组讨论，你想知道苏海和她家人的新年计划，你们会问哪些问题？

   S: 讨论。

   T: （引导学生提问）Maybe you want to know their before Chinese New Year/ On Chinese New Year’s Eve/… Maybe you want to know her father/mother’s plan, what can we ask? Let’s discuss in four. （板书时间状语词条）

   T: What do you want to know about Su Hai’s plan for Chinese New Year?

   S: What are they going to do on Chinese New Year’s Eve?

What is Su Hai’s father going to do on …?

3.      T: You have so many questions about Su Hai and her family’s plan. What are they going to do? Let me show you. Wow, they are going to have a lot of activities. They are going to: (课件出示动词短语，带学生一起读：have a big dinner, buy a lot of things, get red packets, make tangyuan, watch fireworks, watch TV, make dumplings, visit relatives, light firecrackers, )

Teach: light firecrackers (出图)

   T: What are they going to do? Let’s play a guessing game.   

Tips: 猜测的时候用I think，Maybe或Perhaps更符合情境哦。

   课件：人物下面是红包，学生猜，老师拖动活动进去，看是否猜对。

     What is Su Hai’s mum going to do before Chinese New Year?  make dumplings

     What are Su Hai and Su Yang going to do on Chinese New Year’s Eve?  watch fireworks

    What is Su Hai’s dad going to do On Chinese New Year’s Day?   Light firecrackers

     What are Su Hai and her family going to do on the 2^nd day of Chinese New Year?  visit relatives

Step 3. Grammar time

1.      T: Just now, we talked a lot about Anna’s and Su Hai’s plans. How do we talk about plan?（板书plan）Discuss in four.（我们如何谈论计划?）

S: We can use be going to. （板书上圈出来，并板书be going to+动词原形）

T: Yes, if we talk about things we want to do tomorrow, next week, next month, we can use ‘be going to’（板书几个时间词）

2.      Open your books and turn to P81, let’s read in groups. (小组自由匹配问答句读第81页)

3.      T: Let’s play a game about this grammar. Yeah, yeah, yeah, or no, no, no.

Look at the words or phrases, if you can use be going to, you say Yeah, yeah, yeah

and if you can’t, you say no, no, no.

课件出示：tomorrow, yesterday, often, next week, last year, this New Year, this Halloween.

Step 4. Consolidation

1. T: Just now, you did very good job. And you also got some cards. Now take out your cards, look, there are some special days on your cards. I also have a card in my hand. My card is about … Who can ask me like this:

S1 : My card is about Christmas/…

 S2 : What are you going to do at /on …?

 S1 : I’m going to ...

       S2 : What are you going to eat?

       S1 : I’m going to …

T: Talk about your plans about your card. If you have more than one cards, please choose one you like.

同桌互相问答这天的计划。

2. T: OK, I think you all have good plans for these special days. Now, let's play a game: Mingling. What is mingling? We can play like this: （2分钟音乐）

   a. 快速找到你要游戏的搭档。（非本组成员）

   b. 和搭档进行关于计划的问答，并在你的学习单上，勾出他的计划中出现的短语。

  c. 猜猜对方的卡上是什么日子。

   d. 交换你们的卡片，并贴在你的学习单上。

     Tips: 你只有2分钟时间，请抓紧哦！

3. T: Now, go back to your seat. Did you get your friends’ card? Now, try to talk about your friends’ plan in your group. (音乐)

  组内介绍你的朋友的计划，三人询问，一人根据学习单勾的活动来回答。

S1: I’m going to talk about …’s plan for …

Ss: What is … going to do at/on …?

Ss: What is … going to eat?

4.      T: Can you share your friend’s plan with us. Which team can try?(请一组上台，实物投影打出学习单，该组汇报)

5.      T: I think you can say sth. about your friend’s plan, Now let’s try to write it down.

1. Share your plans for New Year’s Day in groups, use “be going to” to ask and answer.

2. Write a passage about your friends’ plans for New Year’s Day.

3. Preview cartoon time and culture time.
