1. Lead-in
师生讨论卡通人物Sam和Billy 可能有的兴趣爱好,为阅读故事做准备。教师可出示故事的第一幅图片作为提示,如:
T: What does Sam like doing? Can you guess?
S1: He likes playing football.
T: What else does he like doing?(出示第一幅挂图)
Ss: He likes skating.
T: What does Billy like doing?
Ss: He likes skating too.
T: Can Billy skate well?
Ss: Yes, he can.
2. Watch a cartoon
T: Now I show you a cartoon without voice and words, please watch carefully and try to say what happens.
3. Talk about the cartoon
教师找2-3名学生说说看的内容,鼓励学生用几句英语叙述。
Step3. Learn cartoon time
1. 教师准备几个问题,让学生有目的的朗读

设计练习再次检测学生的理解情况
